Drywall and light structural on one mill. Quick-change tooling switches profile families without a dedicated line for each.
The TEKFAB Light Gauge Structural Line is built for the manufacturer who runs drywall stud and track in the morning and light gauge structural in the afternoon, one platform, two profile families, quick change tooling between them.
The mill is a TF class split base 12 station rollformer: 9 main roll stand passes and 3 side angle pair stations, with tooling covering stud and track from 1 5/8" up to 12" web, in 20 to 14 gauge at up to Grade 60 yield.
The post punch and cutoff system runs two hydraulic presses for structural oval holes plus an insert for the drywall keyhole, with a slugless cutoff.
