When something on a TEKFAB line is not behaving the way the recipe says it should, the first call goes to TEKFAB support. The second thing that happens is a TEKConnect session. A TEKFAB engineer sees what the operator sees, reads the live PLC, and makes the change from a desk in Oregon, Tennessee, or Ohio.
Most service tickets that used to require a flight, a hotel, a rental car, and a service day now close inside an hour. The customer keeps the line running. We do not bill for travel time that did not happen. The engineering team gets to support more customers in a week than a road technician could in a month.
When a site visit really is the right answer, the technician arrives knowing exactly what is wrong.
The session log is the briefing.
What you get when you connect
A live window into the line,
not a status email.
TEKConnect is real-time. We see what the HMI shows. We see what the PLC reads. We can push a parameter change or load a new recipe from our office and the line picks it up on the next cycle.

Included with every TEKFAB system
At no additional cost. Not a subscription. Not an upgrade.
Not a service bundle.
Every TEKFAB line ships with TEKConnect pre-installed and ready to connect. Customer controls the firewall, customer approves each connection, customer can disable access at any time. We pay for the engineering and the support time on our side. You pay for the internet drop to the line. That is the entire commercial model.

TEKFAB Technology, Remote Service
TEKConnect™ Remote Service
Diagnostics, code updates, and parameter support from our shop to yours. Included with every TEKFAB system at no additional cost.
Where this fits
Standard on every TEKFAB line.
Why we ship it free.
TEKConnect lowers the cost of supporting a line, for us. A remote session is faster than a service trip and a phone call is faster than a remote session. We invested in the architecture once and now every TEKFAB line in the field is connected. Free to the customer means everyone uses it, and everyone using it means we hear about a problem before it becomes a downtime event.
The technical architecture is industrial-grade VPN with customer-side access control. The commercial architecture is no fee, no subscription, no upcharge. Both choices are deliberate.
