Aluminum Extrusion Processing
In-line processing of aluminum extrusion stock: servo-indexed punching, hole-pattern accuracy, soft-touch handling, flying cutoff.
The TEKFAB Aluminum Extrusion Processing line takes extrusion stock from coil or stick and finishes it in line — punched to pattern, cut to length, and handled without marring the finish.
Aluminum extrusion is the material of choice for solar PV mounting rail, architectural frame profiles, and aluminum structural shapes. The challenge is processing it without scratching the finish, holding hole positions within a few thousandths across rails up to 24 feet long, and running throughput high enough to compete with secondary fabrication shops. TEKFAB engineers the servo feed, the press stations, and the soft-touch handoff as one system.
The line accepts both anodized and pre-finished stock, with infeed and offload sections that protect the surface. Quick-change tooling lets one line run multiple profile families in short campaigns.
