Rotary Punching Systems

In-line hole and slot punching at production speed. Pull-through for simple repeating patterns, servo-driven for tandem and mixed sections.

A rotary punch is the right tool when the hole pattern repeats and the line needs to stay at full speed. The strip never stops, the die never stops, and the hole lands in the right place at 500 FPM.

TEKFAB builds two classes. Pull-through punches are non-driven, relying on the rollformer or uncoiler upstream to pull the strip past stationary die heads — simple, durable, and well suited to drywall keyhole, light-gauge studs, and other patterns where the repeat distance is fixed by the part design.

Servo-driven rotary punches add an independent servo motor to each die head, so the head can accelerate, decelerate, and reposition between hits. That makes them the right choice for tandem profiles, mixed patterns, and any application where the hole pattern is recipe-programmed rather than fixed by tooling geometry.
