The TEKFAB Shaftwall (CT) Line produces the CT stud, J-track, and matched shaftliner profiles that go into UL-listed fire-rated shaftwall assemblies. The same drywall mill platform runs the family with a tooling change and the right punching pass.

Shaftwall is one of the most spec-driven cold-formed steel framing families on the market: the stud profile, the shaftliner panel pocket, and the J-runner geometry are all tied to the UL assembly the architect specified. The mill has to hit those dimensions inside AISI S220 tolerance at full production speed — TEKFAB engineers the tooling, punching pass, and cutoff to that standard.

Most Shaftwall lines ship as a dedicated CT mill or as a convertible drywall mill with a CT tooling set — the choice depends on the customer's drywall-to-shaftwall mix and the speed they need on each family.
