Strut Channel & Electrical Support

The continuous-slot channel that holds up the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in every commercial and industrial building.

Strut channel, also called framing channel, is a cold-formed steel profile with a continuous slot pattern, used to support, hang, and brace mechanical, electrical, and structural systems throughout commercial and industrial buildings. Eaton B-Line, Thomas & Betts, and the rest of the Tier-1 channel manufacturers ship millions of feet of it a year.

TEKFAB builds the highest-throughput strut line in the industry. The Strut Channel Roll Forming Line pairs a twenty-station rollformer with the ACCU-RACK closed-loop flying carriage system, US Patent 11,318,546. Up to five hydraulic press modules and one cutoff press ride a single rigid carriage that accelerates to match line speed, holds position while the dies fire, and resets between hits. The mill never slows down.

The market wants 9 standard widths from 7/8" to 3-1/4" base, in 14 ga and 12 ga, on hot-rolled, pre-galvanized, HRPO, or 304 / 316 stainless. Hole tolerance holds ±0.020" at production speed. That is the spec envelope TEKFAB built the line around.
