Solar PV Mounting Rails
Aluminum extrusion and roll-formed steel sections that hold PV modules to roof and earth. The market that built out faster than any other infrastructure category in the last decade.
Solar PV mounting rails are the rail-cap-clamp system that turns a roof or a field into an array. Aluminum extrusion dominates the rooftop segment — lighter, corrosion-friendly, anodized — while galvanized roll-formed steel dominates ground-mount, where load and span run higher. The buyer is a PV racking manufacturer — Unirac, Schletter, K2, GameChange, and the rest of the field — running in-house production or sourcing to spec.
TEKFAB has supplied both classes. The aluminum side runs on the Aluminum Extrusion Processing line, with PLC servo feed for drill/punch/tap operations after extrusion. The galvanized steel side runs on a Custom Roll Forming Line, with the punch pattern engineered to the customer's clamp geometry.

TEKFAB experience
TEKFAB supplies both classes of PV mounting rail — aluminum extrusion for rooftop, galvanized roll-formed steel for ground-mount — with the punch pattern engineered to each customer's clamp geometry. One engineering source across the rail-cap-clamp system, roof to field.
