Automotive Body Reinforcements
Side-impact door beams, bumper reinforcements, rocker panels, seat tracks, roof bows. HSLA and UHSS material at automotive-grade tolerance.
Cold roll forming is now the dominant production method for advanced and ultra-high-strength steel (AHSS/UHSS) body-in-white reinforcements. Side-impact door beams, bumper reinforcements, rocker panels, roof bows, and seat tracks are routinely roll formed in 1,000+ MPa grades — where stamping reaches its physical limits.
TEKFAB engineers welded tube and structural roll forming lines across the HSLA-to-UHSS envelope these parts call for. The Welded Tube Line architecture handles square and rectangular tube up to automotive grades; the Heavy Gauge Structural envelope, with custom multi-pass tooling, handles open-section reinforcements.
