Automotive Body Reinforcements
Side-impact door beams, bumper reinforcements, rocker panels, seat tracks, roof bows. HSLA and UHSS material at automotive-grade tolerance.
Cold roll forming has become the dominant production method for advanced high-strength steel (AHSS) and ultra-high-strength steel (UHSS) body-in-white reinforcements in modern vehicles. Side-impact door beams, bumper reinforcements, rocker panels, roof bows, and seat tracks are now routinely roll formed in 1,000+ MPa material grades where stamping reaches its physical limits.
TEKFAB engineers welded tube and structural roll forming lines that cover the HSLA-to-UHSS envelope these parts call for. The Welded Tube Line architecture handles square and rectangular tube up to automotive grades. The Heavy Gauge Structural envelope plus custom multi-pass tooling handles open-section reinforcements.
