A complete roll forming mill, built to your section, ready to integrate. New lines, retrofits, and standalone production cells.
Not every customer needs a complete turnkey line. Some need a rollformer with the right pass schedule for one specific section, ready to drop into an existing line or to start a new production cell. We build that mill.
A TEKFAB stand-alone roll former is a fully engineered forming mill on its own base, with the pass schedule, shaft size, drive arrangement, and tooling sized for the section you run. It ships with mechanical and electrical drawings, parts manuals, and an operator interface ready to wire into your line controls.
Customers buy a stand-alone mill when they are adding a new profile to an existing plant, when they are replacing a mill that has reached end of life, or when they need a forming cell upstream of their own punch and cutoff equipment. We engineer the mill the same way we engineer a full system. The difference is the scope of the rest of the line.
How a TEKFAB mill is built
Engineered to your section, not adapted from a standard frame.
Pass count is sized to the section. Bend angle per pass, recovery behavior, web stretch, and side angle progression all come from Halmos roll forming theory and from the production history we keep on similar profiles. A complex strut or hat with deep returns gets more passes than a simple Cee. We do not run an undersized mill at speed to claim a shorter footprint.
Shafts run from 2-1/2 inch up to 6 inch diameter depending on material yield, gauge, and line speed. Drive is single-side for lighter sections or dual-side with planetary gearboxes when torque demand justifies it. Tooling is D2 tool steel, through-hardened to 59-61 HRC and polished, so rolls hold their geometry long after a softer roll would have gone out of tolerance.
