Heavy Truck & Trailer Components
Trailer side rails, body cross members, rub rails, scuff plates, roof bows, vertical posts. The structural sections that make up Class 8 trucks and dry-van, refrigerated, and flatbed trailers.
Heavy truck and trailer manufacturing relies on long, structural roll-formed sections that stampings cannot make economically. Trailer side rails, body cross members, roof bows, posts, scuff plates, and rub rails all run on dedicated roll forming lines tuned to the specific section.
TEKFAB engineering for this market sits on the Heavy Gauge Structural envelope (2-1/2" to 16" web, up to 70 KSI yield), with custom multi-pass tooling for the long-format hat, channel, and box sections the trailer industry calls for. The architecture is closer to a PEMB Cee/Zee mill than a CFS drywall mill — heavier drive train, longer parts.
